I. OverviewIn November 2024, the New South Wales Government introduced a battery rebate under the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS). Designed to encourage the adoption of home battery systems, this initiative makes renewable energy storage more accessible while helping households and businesses lower energy costs and dependence on the grid.

Upfront Discount

Receive a $1,600–$2,400 discount on a new battery system, based on its usable capacity. Larger systems qualify for higher discounts.
